10.14.030 Washington Way South.
A. The speed limit on Washington Way South between Richmond Avenue on the north and the City limits on the south shall be twenty (20) miles per hour.
B. Individuals violating the speed limit established in subsection A of this section shall be subject to the most current Washington state model traffic ordinance traffic infraction schedule for the violation as follows:
1. If the infraction occurs within the school zone from one (1) hour before school is in session to one (1) hour after school is out of session on a school day, the infraction shall be cited as a school zone speeding infraction; and
2. If the infraction occurs at times other than those times identified in subsection (B)(1) of this section, the infraction shall result in a common speed limit violation citation. [Ord. 2023-01 § 1, March 2023.]
