Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this Chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in a sum not to exceed three hundred ($300.00) dollars or be imprisoned for a term not to exceed ninety days, or be both so fined 'and imprisoned.
