A permit fee shall be charged by the Public Works Director for the issuance of an excavation permit which shall be in addition to all other fees for permits or charges relative to any proposed construction work. The permit fees are two and one half percent (2.5%) of the cost of all construction that will be inspected by the Public Works Director, but no less than twenty-five dollars ($25).
