There is hereby created and established a Tree Board for the City of George which shall consist of five (5) members citizens and residents of the community who shall be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council. Members of the Board shall serve without compensation.

The Tree Board shall meet at the City Hall at 7:30pm on the first Thursday of every other month each year for a total of six meetings per year, or more often as needed.
