10.10.060 Arterial and residential streets.

The following trucks shall be permitted on city arterial and residential streets even though not designated as truck routes and even though exceeding the combined axle load of fourteen thousand pounds:

A. Commercial vehicles delivering merchandise to businesses and homes within the city limits;

B. Utility vehicles servicing utilities within the city limits;

C. Local garbage collector vehicles operating within the city limits;

D. Construction vehicles may operate within the city limits; however, the owners shall be responsible for wheel rut repairs and/or other damage resulting to streets traveled by construction equipment to the city and as provided for in RCW 46.44.10 and 46.44.120;

E. Municipal vehicles of the city;

F. School buses;

G. Vehicles approved by the city used in parades;

H. Mail trucks;

I. Columbia Basin Irrigation District vehicles.

J. Emergency vehicles.
